How It Works
You read a short calibration passage aloud at your normal speaking pace (including natural pauses and time for laughter). Start the timer when you begin and stop when you finish. We calculate your words per minute and let you save it to your account. Once saved, we use your rate to show estimated speaking times on your AI-generated speeches and anywhere you paste or upload speech text— so you know how long your speech will run before you step up to the mic.
Why We Ask You to Log In
Your speaking rate is stored on your account so that every time you view a speech on our site— including those we generate for you—you see an estimated duration based on your pace, not a generic average. Registration is free and only takes a moment. Once you're in, you can calibrate your rate once and we'll use it everywhere.
