The program is free to join, and allows you to monetize your audience and earn commissions from each new referral.
Can I publish my coupon?
You are welcome to share your coupon or referral links on your own website, blog, or social media. Referral links (from your affiliate dashboard) are the easiest option — they remember your code for 30 days and apply it automatically when someone upgrades. You can still share the code itself for face-to-face conversations. We do ask that no affiliate lists their code on coupon aggregator or discount database sites (e.g. RetailMeNot-style platforms) — this applies to everyone. If you are a planner using the Branded Membership, we recommend keeping your coupon for face-to-face use with your own clients, as this fits the professional context the membership is designed for — but this is a guideline, not a strict rule.
What requirements do I need to meet to apply?
To apply, you must match one of these profiles: be able to demonstrate that you have regular access to people planning celebrations with speeches (e.g., planners, venues, photographers, florists), or have an established online audience which would involve owning and running an active website, and creating original content, such as online courses, seminars, blog posts, or videos.
How will I know if my application is accepted?
We will carefully review your application and should be processed within 5 business days. If your application is approved, then you'll receive an email confirming your acceptance and some tools to help you get started.
Can I become a WeWriteSpeeches affiliate in any country?
Yes. Our program is global and we welcome you to apply as long as Stripe supports your country of residence. However, please note that, for now, our briefing packs and speech content are written in English only.
How are referrals tracked?
Share your personal referral links from the affiliate dashboard (wedding, birthday, quizzes, and more) or your discount code directly. When someone clicks your link, your code is stored for 30 days and applied automatically when they upgrade on the brief speakers step. You earn commission when they complete a purchase using your discount at checkout. If they enter a different code manually at checkout, that code wins — the same as most coupon-based affiliate programmes. Build your own partner page using our wedding and birthday guides (sample copy and SEO tips included).
How long does my referral link remember my code?
30 days from the visit. That covers typical wedding and birthday planning timelines — couples and hosts often research first and upgrade days or weeks later. If someone returns after 30 days without using your link again, they would need to use your link or enter your code manually. Commission is always determined by whichever discount code is used at checkout.
Can I create comparison or review content?
Yes — comparison posts, reviews, and "best of" roundups are all welcome. This kind of content can be genuinely useful to people researching their options, and we are happy to be featured. We ask only that any description of our services is accurate and kept up to date as our product evolves. Please avoid making misleading claims about competitors. The one firm restriction is that pages whose primary purpose is capturing coupon code searches (rather than providing genuine editorial content) fall into the aggregator category and are not permitted.
